Line Guard

Amazing product but even better customer service. I had an emergency with some squirrels destroying my siding, and worked with the staff at Critter Guard to decide on the right solution and expedite my order. Thank you!!

This is such a great product.
It looks professional and is 100% effective.

After posting my initial review (see below), Critter Guard contacted me to offer an additional set of rollers and wheels to supplement the existing system. We decided to install three more rollers to the electric line, with an extra wheel on the roller from which the squirrel parkoured. We decided to add two rollers before the first wheel so that the squirrels would have to first get on an unstable surface before attempting to jump the first wheel.

So far, I've seen no squirrels attempt to get to the house via the electrical line, though the weather has not been conducive for squirrels wanting to get on the roof (either blazing hot or pouring rain). But I'm optimistic that this extended setup will help to deter the squirrels from getting to the roof from the electrical and FiOS lines.

The customer service from Critter Guard is impressive. Our first package didn't include the hot line clamps we'd ordered. I called Critter Guard, and they sent them next-day air so that our electrician could install them the following day. Getting an additional set of rollers and wheels to make the system more suitable for our acrobatic squirrels was a very generous and much appreciated gesture.

Our electricians had never installed something like this, but they found the system easy to install. The installation instructions are good, and the videos make them better. Both electricians asked us to share any videos in which we catch squirrels falling off the electrical line. I can't wait to capture such a video so I can share it far and wide!

I like the product. It was fairly easy to install, and it looks like it should have deterred squirrels.

The squirrels definitely hesitated for a bit. But then they leaped over the wheel, parkoured off the middle roller, and leaped over the final wheel to the open wire.

At least it slowed down the squirrel highway. Maybe more rollers would cause them to not be able to cross. Maybe a roller with a wheel in the middle, so that they need to get more air. Or maybe that would just train them to be more acrobatic than they already are.

Ninja Warrior for possums except it is rigged and they can never get across.

Shipping time is slow, still haven't received this.

Squirrels would get on our roof, but I installed CRITTER GUARD and now I can’t wait to watch the squirrels try to get onto our roof. I think CRITTER GUARD is the best product since ice cream….

Noticed an issue with red squirrels following the power line to my house to get onto my roof. Picked up a set of critter guards, and attached them to the line. The effect was immediate, they couldn't get past the spinning rollers, and it provided a few hours of decent entertainment as they tried repeatedly. They've now given up, and I can rest a little easier knowing they no longer have easy access. Thank you!

I installed a set on my 220v line leading to the house. With in one day it stopped a squirrel. They have been up for a few weeks and not one animal has made it up to the house. Work as advertised.

The critter guard was easy to install by my handyman.
We laughed and delighted in the vision of the squirrels "using it".
Fortunately, it seems to have done the job. No more squirrels eating away at my house siding.
And, I love the sleek, "out of this world" design.
I highly recommend this product.

I purchased a home with roof solar panels and the squirrels used to love to play, nest and used the panels as protection. I work for a utility company and understand the damage squirrels can cause to power lines. I purchased the guards with the recommendation of some linemen and I have to save it has saved me. I used to be woken up at all hours to their annoyance on the roof. I haven’t had any loss in solar production. These guards truly were a life saver to my quality of sleep. I HIGHLY recommend them.
